Windows Phone Can't Sign In to Skype: Troubleshooting Steps

1. In the User name box, enter your Skype for Business username.

2. In the Sign-in address box, enter your Skype for Business username (i.e., 'your username'@company.com).

If you didn't enter your Skype for Business credentials on your phone earlier, the Lync client will pop up an authentication window asking for your proper Lync credentials. Enter these credentials to continue.

Once you've entered your credentials, a BToE icon should appear in the system tray at the bottom right side of your screen. This indicates that the pairing process is complete.

If you did enter your Skype for Business credentials on your phone earlier, you're done! The BToE Connector will automatically pair with your phone and allow you to sign in to Skype.

However, if you're still experiencing issues, try launching the BToE Connector on your computer and then opening the Skype for Business client. Make sure that your computer is tethered to your phone using an Ethernet cable plugged into the PC port on the back of the phone.
